Hello! My name is Adrian Turner and I am a professionally trained and qualified tour guide with a passion for the rich and varied history of the City of London.

Take a walking tour with me and discover more about the City of London’s 2000 – year history. On our journey together we will learn about its’ Roman origins, the City’s customs and enduring traditions, the importance of trade and finance to its success as well as spending time to admire some of its memorable architecture.

As I relate its story there will be many points of interest along the way. I would be delighted for you to join me as we explore its streets, lanes, alleys and many open spaces.

I am a professionally trained and Green Badge qualified guide with the Institute of Tourist Guiding and have a passion for the fascinating “Square Mile” of London.

I was born and raised in the Black Country but moved to live near London over 40 years ago. Working in the financial services industry meant I spent time in the City of London and came to both learn about and become fascinated with its history and traditions. I never tire of walking its streets, lanes and alleys as there is always something new to learn. In 2023 I left financial services and have since qualified as a City of London Green Badge guide with a desire to share my enthusiasm for what the historic City of London has to offer.

It would be my pleasure to take you on a “Turneraround” the City and guide you through its streets, lanes and alleys journeying through 2000 years of history.
